Reiki Training
Reiki is a form of energy healing, and all of us are capable of using Reiki in our
lives for greater connection and healing. Brenda teaches the initial three levels
of Reiki training and the further advanced Karuna® Reiki. All are taught over a
long weekend.
Brenda is an experienced Reiki Master; in Reiki tradition, “master” means the person
is a teacher. Having studied various forms of Reiki, as well as other forms of energy
healing, Brenda incorporates both old and new styles of Reiki tradition in her Reiki
training, allowing each student to discover which Reiki foundations resonate best
with them. Having studied other forms of energy healing, Brenda also incorporates
some of her knowledge of these other traditions in her classes, helping students
understand other avenues of training they may wish to pursue.
When people ask Brenda for ideas of how to connect to their angels, Reiki attunements
are one avenue she suggests for raising a one’s energy vibration to allow easier
access to the angel’s guidance. Reiki attunements are received while sitting in
a chair, with the Reiki Master being a conduit for bursts of Reiki energy to be
offered to Reiki students at the end of each level of training. These attunements
often clear and reorganize a person’s energy field, allowing greater Divine energy
to flow through the person. Some believe attunements can create healing for unfinished
business in this life and concerning past life issues affecting us now.
There are three levels of basic Reiki training.
Reiki I and II trainings are usually done over a long weekend of Friday evening
through Sunday.
Reiki III is also done over a long weekend of Friday evening through Sunday. In
this training, students learn how to teach Reiki and pass attunements to others.
Taking Reiki III does not make a person a Reiki Master. You are considered Reiki
III- trained only, until you actually teach a class and initiate others into the
Reiki energy. Some traditions call this distinction Reiki IIIA and Reiki IIIB.
Karuna® Reiki is taught over a long weekend. The teaching of this Reiki has been
formalized by the International Center for Reiki Training and includes further Reiki
energies.
Brenda’s Reiki classes include a manual, education time and practice time. Some
traditions believe the lineage of a Reiki Master is important. Lineage refers to
the chain of Reiki Masters that historically connect you to the believed founders
